RCKD Consulting & Realty, LLC is a real estate investment and operations platform based in Montgomery, Alabama, focused on disciplined residential execution and long-term asset performance.
As founder and principal operator, Damond Davis leads RCKD's acquisition, renovation, and operation of income-producing residential assets across multiple strategies — including Section 8 workforce housing, mid-term corporate housing, and short-term rentals. RCKD's work emphasizes lender-aligned capital structures, predictable execution, governance discipline, and fiduciary decision-making.
In parallel to RCKD, Davis serves as Managing Member of Capital City Development Group (CCDG), a partner-led development platform focused on attainable infill housing, targeted residential rehabilitation, and city-aligned revitalization through public-private partnerships. That development experience informs RCKD's operating discipline and long-term approach to residential assets.
After more than 25 years as a senior U.S. Army officer, Davis applies the same principles of mission clarity, accountability, and execution to RCKD's operations and platform leadership. He operates with direct financial exposure in every project — ensuring decisions are grounded in risk control, accountability, and durable outcomes.
